Biography

About Steve Wilkie:

Steve grew up in Wisconsin & attended the University of Wisconsin - Eau Claire where he received his degree in Economics in 1974. He traveled extensively in the United States working as an independent businessman. After a spiritual rebirth in 1983, Steve began working with emotionally disturbed adolescents and has progressive administrative experience in behavioral healthcare.

Steve's political interests began when he chose to minor in Political Science at the University of Wisconsin.

Steve launched a successful write-in candidacy for local office in 1993. He served on Town boards in Michigan & then Wisconsin prior to moving to Florida in 2000.

For over 7 years, Steve has contributed his leadership skills to the work of Life Management Center, a non-profit behavioral healthcare agency providing care & services to children & adults with mental illness & substance abuse issues in Holmes, Washington, Jackson, Bay, Gulf, & Calhoun Counties in Northwest Florida.

Steve lives with his wife of 25 years and his 2 children in Lynn Haven, Florida.
